ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
The DPVT Deutsche Prüfstelle für Veranstaltungstechnik (German Inspection Company for Entertainment Technology) GmbH is an independent certification authority, endorsed by the leading associations of the entertainment technology industry, EVVC and VPLT. In order to guarantee independence and quality, and in accordance with our statutes, the DPVT is counselled by an advisory board.

The EVVC Europäischer Verband der Veranstaltungs-Centren e.V. represents–according to its 340 full members (the operating companies)-approximately 750 entertainment technology centres, congress houses, arenas and special-entertainment technology locations of all sizes in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and other neighbouring European countries.
In addition to this multitude of locations, the association’s broad range is supplemented by individual members of the Entertainment Technology industry, honorary members and 60 partner firms, thus making the EVVC the most versatile communications network within the sector.

The VPLT is the German Association for Media and Entertainment Technology
Its members are service providers, sales departments, manufacturer, and self-employed sole proprietors within the entertainment technology industry.
The association’s goals are supporting efficient, innovative and sustainable development within as well as advancing the modernization of our industry through a focus on technology. Our mission statement is: human beings are in the centre of what we do.
The VPLT is proactive in the fields of education and training, norms, certification, quality management, politics, and international networking.

It is the DPVT advisory board’s responsibility to designate the certification contents as well as to define the examination criteria. It is equally formed by industry’s experts from the field of employers and providers and by representatives of public law institutions such as the Verwaltungsberufsgenossenschaft VBG (Administrative and Professional Association) and the Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung DGUV (German Institution for Statutory Accident Insurance).
